Matchfold

last fold No folds yet. The first two stakes make pair 1 — the smaller one folds into the bigger one.

pair 1 · first in your stake opens the pair and waits
next in — faces the first; the smaller folds

Pair 1 is empty. The first stake in waits there; the next stake in faces it, and the smaller one folds into the bigger one.

MATCHFOLD

Type a stake to see which side folds.

How a pair folds

  1. Stake. At least 2,000 MATCHFOLD. If a stake is waiting, yours is its pair. If not, yours opens the next pair and waits.
  2. Fold. The moment the second stake lands, the pair settles in the same transaction: the smaller stake folds into the bigger one. The bigger side is credited both, less 2.5% of the folded stake.
  3. Tie. Equal stakes hold for the one that was waiting.
  4. Cap. Nobody pairs with more than 4× the waiting stake.
  5. Nobody came. A stake with no pair after 30 minutes is released and credited back whole. No fee.
  6. Haul. Credit waits on the contract; pull it whenever you like.

Worked pair

0xA stakes 40,000 and waits. 0xB comes in with 25,000.

25,000 is smaller, so it folds. 0xA is credited 40,000 + 25,000 − 625 (2.5% of 25,000) = 64,375. The folded stake paid 24,375 to 0xA.

Had 0xB brought 50,000: the 40,000 folds, and 0xB is credited 50,000 + 40,000 − 1,000 = 89,000. The most 0xB could bring was 160,000.

Had nobody come in 30 minutes: 0xA gets the 40,000 back, whole.
